Hi guys!
Do you know something about “wearable technology”? Imagine: clothing and accessories incorporating some advanced technology capabilities. These kind of innovations are the real example of how technology is nowadays part of our everyday life.
In this post I would like to talk about one of the latest wearable technology that will be released on the 20th of March by Under Armour: Armour39. It is an athletic performance monitoring system that measures how hard an athlete pushes him or herself during a workout on a scale of 1-10, taking into account heart rate, calories burned, and past performances, among other things.
At the end of your performance you can easily have access to your stored data thanks to and IOS app for iPhones or the Armour39 watch. This will enhance the athlete experience.
The commercial the company has created to promote this technology is called “I Will” and as you can see and hear from the video I’ve posted they say : “OUR JOB IS…TO MAKE YOU BETTER. TO MAKE ALL ATHLETES BETTER. ONE INNOVATION AT A TIME. I WILL.#IWILL
The next step for this company is to build technology right into the fabric of clothes, with touchscreen capabilities, as it is possible to see at the end of their commercial.
Enjoy the video and see you tomorrow!
